Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the Taskboard app (the “App”), developed by Daniil (“we”, “us”). By installing and using the App you accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the App.

What the App is

Taskboard is a task tracker with kanban boards for work teams. Projects, boards, tasks and comments are created by users themselves; accounts are created by a team administrator.

Your account

• Your account is created by your team administrator. There is no self-registration
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for actions taken under your account
• Do not share your credentials: authorship of tasks and comments in the App is determined by them
• Replace the temporary password with your own at first sign-in

Content you create

Tasks, descriptions, comments, project and board names are your content. It remains yours and your organisation's; we claim no ownership and use it only to make the App work.

You are responsible for what you put into the App. You must not post content that:

• breaks the law or infringes the rights of others, including copyright
• contains insults, threats, harassment or incitement to hatred
• contains pornographic material or depictions of violence
• contains malicious code or links to it
• contains personal data of third parties that you have no lawful basis to process

The App is intended for a team's internal work: content is visible to members of your projects, not to the public. That does not lift the restrictions above.

Reporting content and behaviour

If you encounter objectionable content or behaviour from another member:

• tell your team administrator — they can delete the content and remove the member from a board or the project
• if the matter is not resolved, or concerns the administrator themselves, write to us at daniilonishchenko4@gmail.com

We review reports within 24 hours and may remove content that breaches these Terms, and restrict or terminate the offender's access to the App.

What you must not do

• Attempt to reach other people's projects, boards or tasks by circumventing access rules
• Interfere with the App's operation, place a load that disrupts others, or use automated means of bulk access
• Decompile the App, except where the law expressly permits it
• Use the App for unlawful purposes

Availability and your data

We aim for uninterrupted operation but do not guarantee it. The App may be unavailable because of maintenance by the infrastructure provider (Google Firebase), updates or failures.

Deleting a project or a board is irreversible: its tasks, comments and memberships are deleted with it. Backing up your organisation's data is your organisation's responsibility.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose and accept no liability for lost profit, lost data or indirect damages arising from use of the App.

Nothing in these Terms limits your liability for breaking the law, nor removes consumer rights granted to you by law.

Termination

Your team administrator may remove you from boards and projects at any time. We may terminate access to the App if these Terms are breached. You may stop using the App at any time — contact your administrator or write to us to have your account deleted.

Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms. The last update date is shown at the top of this page. By continuing to use the App after a change, you accept the updated version.

Privacy

Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
