Bukovki ("the App") is a children's educational app for learning to write Russian letters, developed by Daniil ("we", "us", or "our"). We take your family's privacy seriously — especially when it comes to children.
The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share personal information. This includes but is not limited to:
Starting with version 4.0, the App collects anonymous product analytics through Firebase Analytics (Google). It serves exactly one purpose: to see which sections children use and where they get stuck, so we can fix those places.
Only enumerations and numbers are collected: which screen was opened, which category was chosen, how many letters were completed, how long a session lasted. No names, no user input, and no drawing contents are collected — nothing a child writes or draws ever leaves the device.
Along with these events, Firebase transmits installation-level technical identifiers: the IDFV (identifier for vendor, shared across one developer's apps on a device) and Firebase's own installation identifier. They are not tied to a person and are reset when the App is deleted.
The advertising identifier (IDFA) is not collected. Advertising identifier collection and ad personalization are disabled in the App's configuration; the App contains no advertising frameworks and performs no tracking across apps or websites.
Google's data handling is described in the Firebase privacy policy.
The App offers optional in-app purchases to unlock additional content (handwriting categories). All purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not collect, store, or have access to any payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID data. Purchase history and transaction management are handled solely by Apple in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
All learning works offline: letters, handwriting practice, and drawing require no network. A connection is needed in two cases — when processing in-app purchases (a brief connection to Apple's servers) and to send the anonymous analytics described above. We operate no servers of our own, so no data is sent to them. The App contains no advertising frameworks and performs no tracking.
All user progress and preferences are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device and is automatically deleted when the App is uninstalled.
The App is designed for children aged 3–7. Because we do not collect any personal information whatsoever, we are fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations worldwide.
The App uses Apple's StoreKit framework for in-app purchases. No other third-party services, SDKs, or APIs are used. The App does not contain any advertising.
In accordance with Apple's App Store requirements, we declare: Data Not Collected. The App does not collect any data from users.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
